A Sense Of Beauty
Showing: Through Dec. 31Recent painting by Joyce McAdams and furniture by David Robinson. Joyce has a unique style in which she layers images over images until surprising new meanings begin to surface. She takes viewers to a magical place where Koi, dragonflies, flying fish, silvery moons, butterflies, leaves and ponds create a new wondrous world. The 'jewel-like' quality her work is known for is the result of an intricately detailed combination of painting & collage-like imagery. She would like her work to be like a good poem- suggesting meanings to the viewer's own psyche, a magical place where the work and the viewer engage.
